Secret tunnels, drug lords, and buried secrets turn Heavenly Acres into CJ Turley’s most dangerous case yet.
CJ Turley thought she’d seen it all in the quirky tiny house community of Heavenly Acres—until strange tunnels, menacing gang lords, and bags of white powder hidden beneath a playground pull her and her friends into their most dangerous mystery yet. What begins with a nosy Peeping Tom quickly escalates into a full-blown battle to keep crime bosses from taking over the mountain they love.
With mysterious men patrolling the grounds, shocking discoveries tied to years of crime, and danger closing in from all sides, CJ, Eric, Mags, and the ever-mischievous pup Caper must split up to stop a ruthless criminal network before it’s too late. But uncovering the truth may cost them more than they’re ready to lose.
Packed with suspense, small-town charm, laugh-out-loud moments, quirky friendships, clean romance, and page-turning danger, this fifth installment in Cynthia Hickey’s Tiny House Cozy Mystery Series will keep you hooked until the very last reveal. If you love amateur sleuth heroines, cozy mysteries with pets, and thrillers wrapped in Ozark charm, this book is not to be missed!
