A canoe trip turns deadly when CJ’s troublemaking dog uncovers a clue that leads straight into danger.
All CJ Turley wanted was a carefree day on the water with her boyfriend Eric, best friend Mags, and her mischievous dog Caper. But fun takes a dark turn when Caper sniffs out a chilling clue—a severed finger—that pulls the tiny house sleuth and her friends into their most perilous case yet.
Before long, CJ is caught up in a deadly web involving witness protection secrets, dangerous drug lords, gunfights in the Ozark forest, and a high-stakes chase for survival. With danger closing in on all sides, even the tight-knit community of Heavenly Acres may not be safe from the fallout.
Fast-paced, witty, and filled with the quirky charm of small-town life, amateur sleuthing antics, loyal friendships, and just the right touch of romance, this third installment in Cynthia Hickey’s Tiny House Cozy Mystery Series raises the stakes higher than ever. If you love cozy mysteries with pets, laugh-out-loud moments, and thrilling twists, you won’t want to miss this wild ride!
